Nokia launches all-new X2-01 entry-level QWERTY mobile

Nokia has launched its all-new text-centric entry-level QWERTY X2-01 [pdf]. The device incorporates a 2.4-inch QVGA 320×240 display and includes 1-click access to social networking directly from the home screen. Also viewable on the home screen are alerts as well as news. Music can be accessed directly from the home screen in 1-click too.

The device weighs a light 107.5 grams including its 1020mAh battery, which is good for 20 days of stand-by or up to 4.5 hours of talk time. It also includes a VGA camera and supports up to a 8GB microSD. Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR rounds out the package.

The Nokia X2-01 comes in a wide range of colors including, red, deep gray, silver, lilac and azure. When it becomes available before the end of the year, it is expected retail for the equivalent of $ 110.
